‘A Great Read’
“Tá obair mhór déanta ag Bernadette Nic an tSaoir. Éiríonn léi leabhar beo a chur roimh an léitheoir. Ní mhúchann sí glór an údair ach cuireann ag caint i nGaeilge é agus caitheann sí roinnt focal Fraincise leis an léitheoir anois agus arís leis an chomhthéacs a shaibhriú….. Léitheoireacht den scoth atá ann.” — Pól Ó Muirí, The Irish Times.
“Is féidir an ghrian a mhothú ar do chraiceann, an sáile a bhlaiseadh. Agus an biotáille, an miangas, an dóchas is éadóchas. Grá agus gruaim. Scéinséir lán castaí is corranna … Coirpigh. Póilíní, idir dhíreach is cham. Tuismitheoirí díograiseacha ar loic an tír orthu. Ógánaigh ag iarraidh saoirse is meas. Agus grá. Formad, drúis, saint. Iarrachtaí bheith ionraic i saol lofa.” — Smaointe Fánacha Aonghasa
